If you have an eye infection your optometrist or ophthalmologist may suggest an eye-care regimen including cleaning, warm compresses, eyelid massage and eye drops.

Cleaning:
Clean away any ocular secretions and crusted matter that are present on your eyelids and between your eyelashes using i~Soothe Gentle Cleansing Wipes. |
1. Always wipe outwards from the inner corner of the eye (next to the nose) towards the outer corner 2. Use a clean surface for each wipe, so any drainage is cleaned away and not rubbed back across the eye 3. Take care to clean inbetween the lashes and sides of the eyelid. Do not wipe along the inner eyelid 4. Open a separate i~Soothe sterilized wipe for cleaning each eye, and use a clean wipe for each application |
Warm Compress:
1. Place the entire i~Soothe sachet in a cup of warm water for a few minutes 2. Remove the sachet from the warm water 3. Tear open foil pack and unfold the i~Soothe wipe 4. Apply the warm wipe to the eye lid 5. Gently clean away crusted matter as per above instructions
|
Lid Massage:
1. Using a warm or cold i~Soothe wipe massage the whole width of the eyelids 2. Firmly stroke the skin of the lids downwards (towards the lashes) for the top lid 3. Firmly stroke the skin of the lids upwards (towards the lashes) for the bottom lid |
